Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before your first session.

The Coreano Theory is an original integrative therapeutic framework developed by Mitzy Coreano. It combines Gestalt psychology, Rogerian person-centered therapy, and holistic methodology into one adaptive, personalized approach. It is the only framework of its kind, created specifically to address the root causes of emotional and behavioral patterns rather than managing their surface expressions.

The practice serves children, teenagers, adults, couples, and families. If you are carrying something you have not been able to shift on your own, regardless of your age or situation, this practice was built for you.

The Coreano Theory is a holistic and educational therapy practice. It is not a clinical setting. The focus is on emotional regulation, nervous system functionality, behavioral patterns, self-knowledge, and the practical strategies that create lasting change in daily life. If your needs fall outside the scope of this practice, you will always be referred to the most appropriate professional resource.

Yes. After the first in-person session, all subsequent sessions can be conducted virtually via Google Meet if that works better for your schedule. Virtual sessions follow the same structure and standards as in-person work. The one non-negotiable condition is that the session must take place in a completely private space with no one else present or within earshot.

Please notify the therapist at least 24 hours in advance, with one week’s notice strongly preferred. Cancellations made without adequate notice will incur a fee of $25.00 USD. Missed sessions without any notice are also subject to the same fee.
